Everyday Brown Smokey Eye!

Hey Everyone! So next week I am starting with themes for each day, but since i started my blog late in the week I thought my first look should be just my everyday brown Smokey Eye! I hope to eventually start doing videos, but for now pictures will be posted for step by step directions and the product names I am using! Enjoy!

Your Average Brown Smokey Eye!:

Starting from the top!

I always start with a fresh, clean face! Also, before any makeup goes on, I always apply moisturizer with an SPF to protect my skin from aging and those harmful UV rays!

1) In step number one, I have already applied a primer all over my lid. My favorite primer to use is Urban Decays "Primer Potion" in "Eden". Also in this step I have applied a base color to my entire lid. I used Urban Decays "Skimp" eyeshadow.

2) In step two, I have applied Urban Decays " Baked", a beautiful gold shadow across my lid and a bit above the crease of my lid. I also have highlighted my brow bone with Urban Decays "Zephyr", a bright white color that draws attention to the shape of your eyes.

3) Step Three may be tricky for some of you! Liquid eyeliner takes some serious practice, but you will get a hold of it! In this step I have used Urban Decays "Perversion" Liquid liner This stuff holds forever!

4) In step four, I have dragged Urban Decays "Lost", a beautiful deep dark brown that mixes with the gold perfectly into my crease, lightly blending it upward with the gold. Make sure not to blend it all the way to the brow bone! We will be adding in a darker color, so don't worry if it's still too light for your taste.

5) Step 5 is the last of the eyeshadow! Using a small brush, and Urban Decays "Cobra", a deep sexy black with a gold sparkle to it, run only along the crease and corner of lid, blending it into the wing of your liner. In this step, I also have defined my brows with CoverGirls eyebrow pencil in "Soft Brown" (Inexpensive and works great!) and lined inside my bottom lid with NYC's eyeliner in "White", opening up the eye and making it appear larger. I have also used Urban Decays eyeliner lightly in "Rockstar" along the bottom lash line, blending with a Q-tip until smooth!

6) Last Step! In step six I've applied Smashboxes "Bionic Mascara" in "Jet Black" (This stuff holds forever!) generously to the top and bottom lash line.

 I generally don't wear foundation or loose powder on my face because I haven't found one my skin likes, but If you do, it will complete this look! Also, my favorite Lip gloss to wear with this average look is Smashbox's line of gloss in "Pop".
